Computer Lab and Meeting Room

The computer lab features three desktop and three laptop computers connected to high-speed fiber optic Internet. Computers are available on a walk-in basis.

The meeting room may be reserved for up to two hours for meetings, group study, or programs. The room accommodates up to eight people. When not reserved, the meeting room is available for adult patrons on a walk-in basis.

Private Study

The private study room may be reserved for up to two hours for online testing, interviews, applications, or small-group meetings. The room accommodates up to three people. Patrons may use their own computers or reserve one of the library’s laptops. When not reserved, the private study room is available for adult patrons on a walk-in basis.


Dave & Mary Wood Academic Center

The academic center may be reserved for youth and teen programs, tutoring, or group study. The library’s laptops and Chromebooks also may be reserved. When not reserved, the academic center is available for youth and teens on a walk-in basis.


Technology Offerings

The following equipment is available for patron use at the Ouray Public Library:

  • Three Dell XPS 8930 desktop computers with Microsoft software
  • Three Dell Inspiron 1700 series laptops
  • Three Acer Touch-Screen Chromebooks
  • Two iPad Air 2s
  • One Nabi learning tablet
  • One Sony Handycam camcorder
  • One Dell smart printer
