The Ouray Public Library recently
received a $2,500 grant from the Colorado Springs–based El Pomar Foundation.
The grant was recommended by El Pomar’s San Juan Regional Council, an advisory
board of community leaders representing Delta, Montrose, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Ouray and San Miguel counties. The Ouray Public
Library sponsors a series of innovative programs in Ouray County,
including early literacy, tweens & teens and book–movie programs as well as
book talks.
