Every year, the Friends of the Ouray Public Library supports the library by hosting the Annual Holiday Luncheon and Fashion Show. Thanks to the efforts of the Friends organization, the Ouray Library receives funding for nearly 30 percent of its annual book budget.
Additionally, as the nonprofit arm of the Ouray Public Library, the Friends of the Ouray Public Library is a registered 501(c)3 and supports the library in its grant-seeking efforts.
